THERE IS POWER

Someone very very very very special to me met Jesus! After years of praying, she was convicted of her need for the Lord and He found her! I found out just 8 minutes before we were supposed to start a teen event, so I leapt up and showed my leaders and asked for a few minutes to call her quickly. AHHHHH

Everyone said I was glowing! I know I was! I couldn't stop crying and smiling and faithfulness and awe just surrounded me. Her path has been so dark, that it seemed hopeless, but I remember getting Hosea 2:23 as a promise in one of the most hopeless, depressing times. God is able to do more than we would ever imagine! Everyone let out a cheer when I shared later at worship. I was in tears from beginning to end, being 700 miles away but never having felt closer to the special girl with whom I've shared almost my entire life. For the first time, she could sing those songs too! What an incredible thing!

Almost 8 hours after I found out, a friend said, "Just so you know, you're still glowing!" I picked up a pretty pink Bible for her, and highlighted some of the verses I've been praying for her over the years. That's getting sent out tomorrow.
